Technology Transfer Project

Cloud applications provide great chances to reduce operating and maintenance costs for their tenants. Furthermore, they enable the implementation of advanced business use cases as compared to common Local or Client-Server applications. However, there are some challenges that developers have to tackle when using cloud infrastructures and young technologies in general. Examples are rapidly evolving interfaces, tools and infrastructure or differences between the local test environment and the cloud. In this technology transfer project, we evaluate the usage of young cloud technologies and associated web technologies provided by SAP. We support our project partner, EASY SOFTWARE AG, to gather experience on the usage of these technologies, to address crucial pitfalls during their application and to develop best practices to tackle them. The project focuses on the development of cloud-based Contract Management apps.
