As part of the LabTalk series of the Network of Labs, base.camp is the first lab to introduce itself. We invite you to the betahaus on 31 January. We will explain what the base.camp is, what it should become and present our topics and current projects.
In addition to the lab presentation, IBM will be presenting the space assistant CIMON by Alexander Gerst. Afterwards there will be a talk on ethics in computer science and AI by Gernot Rieder.
As the last item on the agenda, current projects at base.camp will present their respective projects in an entertaining 12min.me slam. The speakers have 6 minutes to pitch their project and are then interviewed for exactly 6 minutes by the audience. The best project is determined by a gossip meter and is awarded at the end.
In addition, there will be time for exchange and networking with colleagues and students from the other Creative Labs (CSL@HCU, CSTI@HAW, TUHH), who are also invited here.
