Dagstuhl Seminar 'Intractability in Discrete Geometry and Topology‘

In the week of March 15 - March 19, Jean Cardinal (ULB, Brussels), Hsien-Chih Chang (Dartmouth College, US), Linda Kleist (UHH), and Jonathan Spreer (University of Sydney, AU) organized a Dagstuhl Seminar 'Intractability in Discrete Geometry and Topology‘ to tackle algorithmic, combinatorial, and computational questions concerning fundamental objects such as curves, embedded graphs, surfaces, and 3-manifolds. To this end, researchers from the fields of computational complexity, computational geometry, topology, discrete geometry, and graph drawing came together from all over the world. The workshop was a fifth edition of a fruitful series fostering the links between these communities.
