Welcome to the ITG Research Group
Digitalization shifts the focus and the way of developing and using IT in enterprises. The customer, the surrounding business ecosystem, the analytic potential of large and constantly growing data volumes as well as numerous groundbreaking technologies affect and increasingly determine the search for new business ideas and improved processes. Associated therewith are reacceleration, increase in complexity and heightened uncertainty regarding the anticipation of transformations. Enterprises react with various strategies centering around enabling agility and innovation capability. This calls for new methods and the enhancement of established techniques. Rooting in a sociotechnical approach based on architecturing, the working group ITG conducts research into the following IT governance and management tasks:
