Join Our Team: Student Tutor Opportunities

The Chair of Machine Learning is regularly looking for motivated and skilled students to join our team as student tutors. These positions offer an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of machine learning, work collaboratively and gain practical experience in teaching.

Responsibilities:

-        Prepare and conduct tutorials with the support and guidance of faculty members.
-        Facilitate students’ understanding of complex concepts in a collaborative environment.
-        Deliver tutorials in German or English, depending on the course.

We are currently seeking tutors for the following courses:

-        Einführung in das Maschinelle Lernen (BA level, German)
-        Machine Learning (MA level, English)
-        Optimization for Machine Learning (MA level, English)

Requirements:

-        A solid understanding of the course content for the tutorials you will supervise.
-        Reliable, organized, and excited about teaching or research in machine learning.

Workload:

Tutorials are typically calculated as a workload of 5 hours per week, including preparation, based on a 2-hour weekly session (2 SWS). Additional teaching hours can be arranged upon agreement.
