On Wednesday, December 10th, Cedric Möller and Prof. Ricardo Usbeck were invited to the Fraunhofer Center for Maritime Logistics and Services (CML). The meeting was centered on the integration of SEMS’ AI-services into maritime logistics products and services, such as the outcome of the ARTUS project (https://www.cml.fraunhofer.de/de/forschungsprojekte1/ARTUS.html). The highlight was certainly a short training on the ship bridge simulator which is normally used to foster research on communication patterns in ship operation education. We are looking forward to common research projects. Thanks CML!
The Fraunhofer Center for Maritime Logistics and Services (CML) is an institution of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. At the Fraunhofer CML, scientists develop and optimize processes and systems along the maritime supply chain. In practice-oriented research projects, private and public clients from the shipping, port, and logistics sectors are supported in initiating and realizing innovations. Depending on project and customer needs, interdisciplinary teams of engineers, economists, mathematicians, computer scientists, and nautical scientists work together to create customer-specific solutions for ship and fleet management, nautical and maritime traffic, or ports and transport markets. Fraunhofer CML is part of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics in Dortmund. Read more here https://www.cml.fraunhofer.de/Homepage (Source: Wikipedia)
