Hey everybody!

My name is Philip and I’m a new Student Research Assistant at the Semantic Systems Group. I’m currently studying Computer Science at the Uni Hamburg. Previously I’ve studied Law, also in Hamburg and finished my first state examination (1. Staatsexamen) in December 2020. I joined the SEMS research group in September 2022 to assist with legal questions regarding the SEMS/CoyPu-Project. I’m also interested in finding ways to apply developments in natural language processing to solve problems facing the legal profession today. In this regard, I hope to build my knowledge and develop further at the SEMS-Group here at Uni-Hamburg!
