EIT Public Lecture Series: TAMING THE MACHINES
Our winter term lecture series is completed. We are back on April 14, 21 with Paul Nemitz' talk "Power, Freedom and Democracy in the Age of Artificial Intelligence and the Responsibility of Engineers". CEPE/IACAP Joint Conference 2021: The Philosophy and Ethics of Artificial Intelligence
Submissions are now being accepted for the joint CEPE/IACAP conference from July 5-9, 2021. Given the continued uncertainty around Covid-19, the conference will now take place in a fully virtual format.
The philosophy and ethics of artificial intelligence will serve as a guiding theme for the CEPE/IACAP Joint Conference 2021. While submissions to this broad topic are encouraged, other topics within the field of philosophy of computing and computer ethics are also very welcome.
Under "Bits and Pieces" we share reads, podcasts or videos which we find interesting. Please note that the viewpoints expressed in the shared content do not represent the position of the Ethics in Information Technology working group, any of its members, nor of the University of Hamburg.
