Short Biography
Cornelia Brülhart is a research associate in the Computer Networks (NET) group at the University of Hamburg, where she has been working since January 2023. She obtained her M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Hamburg in 2019. Before joining the university, she worked at the Centre of Applied Aeronautical Research (ZAL) as a System Engineer, contributing to industry projects focused on implementing distributed systems with various communication protocols in aircraft cabins. She was also involved in the DELIA research project, which aimed to develop a novel processing platform by integrating innovative standards like IEEE 802.1 Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN), FPGAs, and fiber optic connections.
Currently, Cornelia is engaged in the RESISTANT project, where she develops methods to enhance Ethernet standards in embedded systems and time-sensitive domains. Her research focuses on zero-trust security models, dynamic reconfigurable mission-critical networks, and attack detection on layer 2 devices, contributing to the advancement of secure and reliable network infrastructures.
