Biography
Tabea Hofmann is a research associate in the research group Digital Innovation and Transformation. She combines in her research Human–Computer Interaction with IT management and explores how digital innovations in organizations can be designed to meaningfully support people in their work. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Human–Computer Interaction from the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. She subsequently completed her Master’s degree in IT Management and Consulting at the University of Hamburg.
In her master’s thesis, she focused on Responsible AI Literacy and the design of learning and support solutions in the context of AI transformation in organizations. In particular, she was interested in how employees with extensive domain expertise can be supported in integrating AI-based systems and applications into their work in a self-determined way and with clear benefits.
Since April 1, 2026, she has been a doctoral researcher in the Digital Innovation and Transformation group. In this role, she contributes to the ITMC study program and works on her doctoral research.
Her research interests lie in Responsible AI Literacy, the human-centered design of digital work, and the development of learning and enablement approaches that foster trust, competencies, and the effective use of AI in organizations.
