Nikita Braguinski (HU Berlin) is going to give a talk on "The Politics of Knowing. What Can Be Learned From Taking Apart a Children's Toy?"
Nikita Braguinski received his PhD in media theory from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (2016). Since 2012, he was teaching media theory seminars at the Humboldt-Universität. He participated in conferences and workshops at Cambridge, Harvard and other research institutions. Recently, he investigated algorithmic approaches to sound in the research group “Epistemes of Modern Acoustics” at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science. He is currently preparing his dissertation RANDOM. Die Archäologie der elektronischen Spielzeugklänge (RANDOM. An Archaeology of Electronic Toy Sounds) for publication in 2018.
