Conference attendance

We as base.camp would like to make it possible for you to participate in scientific conferences. It is planned to be able to get 3 or 6 credit points for the free elective courses (Freier Wahlbereich). The credits consists of the attendance of the conference and an additional credit. This can consist in attending the conference in combination with reviews of 3 papers on one topic (3 CPs). In addition, it is possible to write your own paper based on the conference or to develop a prototype on the conference topic (6 CPs). Participation is limited to conferences in the field of computer science/business informatics.

For the evaluation of the reviews/papers/prototype a project supervisor from the Computer Science department is needed. Here, the base.camp is happy to help with the placement (basecamp@informatik.uni-hamburg.de).

We offer to pay the conference fees. Prerequisite is a letter of motivation, which explains why you want to participate in the conference and which topics are particularly interesting there.
