Student Council
The Student Council (FSR) (actually known as the Independent Student Council at the Informatikum) is a student body within the Department of Computer Science and acts as the central representative body for students.
It is elected by the students (the student body) at the Computer Science general assemblies.

Meetings
The FSR meets every week in the FSR office (Inf 01-643) for public meetings.
In principle, digital participation via Discord is also possible, but please do register with us in advance so that you are not overlooked.
On Wednesdays at 6.00 pm in even calendar weeks, and on Thursdays at 6.00 pm in odd calendar weeks.
What does the Student Council do?
- Representing students: Promoting the common interests and academic concerns of students..
- Coordination of student representatives: Advising and supporting students on faculty and departmental councils...
- Promotion of working groups: Supporting and promoting student initiatives and working groups.
- Collaboration with other student councils: Cooperation with other student councils at the university and across the region.
- Organisation of events: Planning and running academic and social events for students (partly outsourced to the Neue EPAG).
- Advice and support: Providing assistance with organisational and academic matters.
- Traditionally established tasks: including the purchase of drinks
