Lecture Objectives and Contents
This bachelor project (taught in German) aims to provide theoretical knowledge and practical experience in network security by solving excercises and working on case studies. Each topic will be worked on for one, two or three weeks by all students in teams simultaniously and will be closed by a discussion about different solutions.
Experiences in scripting or Java programming are helpful. The project uses virtualised Linux environments and takes place in the SecLab. Knowledge on Linux and it's usage are advantageous, but not mandatory. The first two weeks will give the chance to work one's way into the Linux environment.
The project takes place in the SecLab.
