Objectives and Contents
Modern information systems process and store digital information from a multitude of data sources. While digital copies of data are easy to produce, different legal requirements and regulations should be taken into consideration before. In this lecture, legal and technical solutions to copyright protection are presented and discussed. The lecture aims to raise awareness with a view to the various aspects of data usage and intellectual property right protection, from international politics to personal life.
Course Organization and Availibility
This lecture is part of the module "Recht der Informationswirtschaft" (Bachelor Wirtschaftsinformatik) and can also be selected as "Wahlbereich" by computer science students. The lecture (2 SWS) is reguarly held in the summer term. During the exam (60 minutes time), all written documents are allowed (open book). All statements without warranty.
