Lecture Objectives and Contents
Methods of Information Security Management are the construction of security models, security infrastructures and security concepts, as well as risk analysis and management. An Information Security Management System (ISMS) is a systematic approach to maintain information security of an organization. It concerns all persons being involved to data processing, business processes and IT systems. Information Security Management concerns all aspects of systems security and ensures the establishment of enterprise security. In addition to existing security management standards the basic concepts and methods of data security will be presented.
Course Organization and Availability
The course is regularly held in summer term. Course language is English (on demand). It is accompanied by an Integrated Seminar. The final grade consists of 50 percent grade of a written exam (60 minutes time, closed book) and 50 percent grade of the result obtained in the Integrated Seminar. All statements without warranty.
