Short Biography
Eleftherios Eleftheriadis has been a researcher in the Security in Distributed Systems (SVS) research group at the University of Hamburg since 2024. He previously studied law at the University of Heidelberg and holds a Master’s degree in computer and network security. He is currently working on his doctoral thesis.
His research interests encompass risk modeling and assessment, with a focus on enhancing cyber insurance solutions. He employs methods like extreme value theory to understand and predict rare cyber events, supporting more effective risk management strategies. Alongside the technical modeling, he addresses the legal questions surrounding insurance policies, ensuring that the solutions are both technically sound and legally compliant.
