Congratulations to Dr. Jenny Gabel

Dr. Jenny Gabel successfully defended her dissertation entitled “Immersive Inscribed Spaces: Spatial Interaction Techniques for Understanding Written Artefacts“ on Monday, April, 28th, 2025. Her work was conducted in the scope of the Cluster of Excellence Understanding Written Artefacts at University of Hamburg. Jenny was co-supervised by Lecturer Dr. Susanne Schmidt from the HITLab at the University of Canterbury, in Christchurch, New Zealand. Ralf Möller and Eva Bittner from UHH, as well as Anil Ufuk Batmaz from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, served on the examination board.
