Congratulations to Dr. Sukran Karaosmanoglu

Dr. Sukran Karaosmanoglu successfully defended her dissertation entitled “Immersive Virtual Reality Games for Societal Impact: Physical Activity, Active Aging, and Social Interaction“ on Wednesday, May 21st, 2025. Her work was conducted in the scope of the two BMBF projects EXGAVINE and VITALab, both coordinated at the University of Hamburg. Thanks to Regan Mandryk, University of Victoria, and Kathrin Gerling from KIT for reviewing the thesis. Janick Edinger and Eva Bittner from UHH served as chairs for the examination board.
