In our interdisciplinary project ‘Immersive City Scripts - Inscriptions and the construction of social space in Miletus (Asia Minor)’ we collaborate with researchers from the Humanities to create immersive applications for Written Artefacts research. The project is part of the research field "Inscribed Spaces" at the Cluster of Excellence "Understanding Written Artefacts" and analyses the inscriptions within the Greco-Roman ancient theatre of Miletus.
Last December, Jenny Gabel and Ann Lauren Osthof organized an evening event where participants had the chance to try out the interactive virtual reality application of the theatre. Read more about the event in the blog of the Centre for the study of manuscript cultures.
