Lecture at Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Hamburg
5 June 2025, by HCI-UHH
In the lecture series “Diversity” of the Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Hamburg, Frank Steinicke talked about the possibilities and challenges associated with the convergence of current hype technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Extended Reality (XR). This fusion opens up new horizons by connecting virtual and physical spaces, creating interactive experiences that redefine our perception of reality and intelligence. The lecture aims to critically explore both the opportunities and risks of this technological integration, and to provide a space for dialogue and creative ideas.
