Intelligent Virtual Agent Project Nominated for Prestigious Laval Virtual Award 2026

Our Intelligent Virtual Agent (IVA) SDK has been nominated for the prestigious Laval Virtual Award 2026 in the "Developer & Authoring Tools" category. Developed within the PRESENCE-xr EU Project and led by Prof. Dr. Frank Steinicke, the SDK was built through the collaborative efforts of Ke Li, Sebastian Rings, Fariba Mostajeran, Julia Hertel, Michael Arz, and Susanne Schmidt within the Human Computer Interaction (HCI) group at University of Hamburg. The SDK empowers researchers and developers to create embodied intelligent agents using entirely open-source materials.
