The current EXIST Project "Space Walk" and recently founded VR start-up Curvature Games by former PHD student of HCI Dr. Eike Langbehn receives the InnpRampUp grant from the IFB Innovationsstarter.
This grant of a sum up to 150.000 EUR will support the project of creating a VR platform for commercial use out of the redirected walking techniques. The founding-team, consisting of Dr. Eike Langbehn, Hannah Paulmann and Dennis Briddigkeit convinced the committee with the novel RDW techniques and their plans to make a sustainable business by creating immersive VR experiences using these techniques.
