"Best Innovation" Award at nextReality.Contest 2019

Eike Langbehn received the nextReality Award for his research demo "Space Walk" in the category "Best Innovation".  Nominees in this category were the multimedia installation "Discovery Dock" and the 360 drone "Spherie 2.0". The nextReality.Contest is organized by the local XR association nextReality.Hamburg e.V. since 2017. Out of more than 60 submissions, the jury (that consisted of renowned VR/AR experts from jorunalism, science and industry, e.g. Microsoft, Facebook, heise) selected winner in 5 categories. The award ceremony took place in the Astor Film Lounge Hafencity at 6 November 2019 and was opened by the Hamburg Senator for Culture and Media, Dr. Carsten Brosda.
