Short Bio
Felicia Brisc joined the Human-Computer Interaction research group in March 2026. Prior to that, she worked as a Visualization Scientist at the Center for Earth System Research and Sustainability (CEN) at the University of Hamburg from 2010 to 2026. In this role, she developed advanced visualization solutions for high-resolution climate data, including desktop applications, animations, and immersive VR experiences. She also created and taught a block course on Scientific Visualization at the School of Integrated Climate Sciences.
She holds a Ph.D. (2007) from the School of Engineering and Computing at Dublin City University and was a part-time lecturer at Trinity College Dublin, where she taught graduate courses in Image Processing and Computer Graphics. Her expertise brings together the fields of computer graphics, computer vision, and scientific visualization.
