Short Bio
Ke Li received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Physics from Centre College (USA) in May 2018 and her Master's degree in Optics and Photonics from the Friedrich Schiller University Jena (Germany) in April 2021. She joined the HCI group in July 2021 and was a PhD fellow at the Helmholtz Graduate School for the Structure of Matter (DASHH). In October 2024, she successfully defended her dissertation entitled "Towards a Particle Accelerator Metaverse: Mixed Reality Interfaces for Operations of Complex Physics Facilities". Afterwards, she started working as a postdoctoral researcher within the European Union funded project PRESENCE, where she leads the WP4 Virtual Human technical pillar and leads the development of a multi-moda l interaction framework for intelligent virtual agents. Please find her research video demos, code, and papers here.
