Short Bio
Shahin Sepanlou is a DASHH doctoral researcher in the Human-Computer-Interaction group at the Department of Informatics at the Universität Hamburg.
Shahin has a Master’s degree in physics from the Universität of Hamburg, where he specialised in experimental particle and X-ray physics. His Master’s thesis was supervised by Prof. Johannes Haller and had a strong focus on machine learning and data analysis. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Johannes Gutenberg Universität Mainz.
His research focuses on developing semi-automatic, interactive 3D reconstruction workflows for stereoscopic X-ray ptychography.
