Xinyu Chen

Short Bio
Xinyu Chen is a PhD student at DASHH, co-supervised by Prof. Frank Steinicke (UHH) and Prof. Wim Leemans (DESY). She joined the HCI lab in May 2025. Previously, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics from Tongji University (Shanghai, China) and her Master’s degree in Robotics, Cognition, Intelligence from Technical University of Munich (Munich, Germany). Her current research interests include multi-modal human-robot interaction, with a focus on high-level robot control using mixed reality and large language models.
