Handheld 3D Touch Interaction
In this project we developed different (multi-)touch interaction techniques with handheld devices. We leveraged inertial orientation data of the devices to update the view to a 3D virtual environment when tilting the device using the window-on-a-world metaphor. Such handheld touch displays impose novel challenges to direct touch interaction. In this project we explore different approaches to provide intuitive touch interaction with such handheld devices.
