Graduate ceremony and summer party

On Wednesday, 10 July 2024, the graduation ceremony took place again at the Department of Computer Science, once again organized by the department's creative lab base.camp. All graduates of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs were invited to celebrate their graduation in style. The computer science summer party took place afterwards and broke all attendance records.

Prof. Dr. Hannes Federrath guided us through the evening, which was accompanied by the cello duo Anna Olivia Amaya Farias and Fabian Sturm. The specialist lecture "Shaping the future - graduates in the age of AI" was held this year by Prof. Dr. Eva Bittner and could not have been more topical. The students' speech this year was given by Daniel Speck. After the event, Dagmar Schacht and Dr. Johannes Göbel from the Student Office were on hand with gowns and cameras for photos.

All graduates present received personal congratulations and a certificate from Prof. Federrath. The best graduates in their respective degree programs, as well as the best Bachelor's and Master's graduates of the year, were also awarded prize money.

Once again, we congratulate all graduates of this cohort and wish them all the best for their personal and professional future!
