In January 2020, an "EXIST"-team will join the HCI group. Former phd student of HCI Dr. Eike Langbehn works with Hannah Paulmann and Dennis Briddigkeit on novel location-based VR experiences based on redirected walking techniques. The project "Space Walk" is funded for one year with 140.000 Euro by the "EXIST"-Grant, a support program of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi) aimed at improving the research transfer at universities and research institutions. Students looking for jobs/thesis topics or people interested in the project are invited to get in touch with the team or drop by room F-128 at HCI.
