nextReality x Meta Hackathon

Last week, the HCI team participated in the exciting Meta x nextReality Hackathon that took place on Thursday and Friday. The event gathered 28 students from HAW, UHH, and other local universities to tackle an XR enterprise challenge presented by Deutsche Telekom. After two days of collaborative hacking, all teams showcased their innovative and inspiring ideas. Team 6, consisting of Moritz Friedrich, Bado Völckers und Karim Djemai, emerged as the winners, walking away with three Quest 3 devices. The hackathon served as a showcase of the participants' creativity and ingenuity in exploring the possibilities of extended reality solutions.
