Interactive Game Development 2025
This semester, our Interactive Game Development course at the University of Hamburg took on a meaningful challenge. Guided by the theme "Games for a Sustainable Future", dedicated master’s students worked to develop eight innovative games aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
The games focused on:
- Goal 3: good health and wellbeing,
- Goal 6: clean water and sanitation,
- Goal 12: responsible consumption and production,
- Goal 13: climate action,
- Goal 14: life below water, and
- Goal 15: life on land.
Through these playful and impactful creations, our students hope to raise awareness and encourage action. They hope to show that we can make a difference in creating a brighter and more sustainable world through the world of games. Check out their excellent work in the trailer below, als well as their detailed game presentations!
