On September 15, 2023, our article "Learning by Doing: Educators' Perspective on an Illustrative Tool for AI-Generated Scaffolding for Students in Conceptualizing Design Science Research Studies" was published in the Journal of Information Systems Education. The article outlines how generative language models such as GPT-3 can support novices in developing design knowledge. The article is the conceptual counterpart to our publication "Human-AI Collaboration in Conceptualizing Design Science Research Studies: Perceived Helpfulness of Generative Language Model's Suggestions", presented at this year's European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS), in which the quality of design knowledge generated by GPT-3 was investigated.
