On Oct 18th Knowledge Technology students participated in the Expo 2017 at the Informatics department of the University of Hamburg. Aleksej Logacjov presented his Bachelor thesis on "Künstliche Neuronale Netze zur Vorhersage der Stromstärke von Robotermotoren". The Master's project group presented their work on "The Impact of Personalization on Human-Robot Interaction" and Nikhil Churamani his independent study on "Teaching Emotion Expressions to a Human-Companion Robot". Sebastian Springenberg won the third prize for his independent study on "Attention Mechanisms in Neural Encoder-Decoder Architectures".
