TERAIS Meeting in Bratislava

The Knowledge Technology team took part in the TERAIS consortium meeting, which was held in Bratislava from the 16^th to the 17^th of January 2024. Representatives from all the TERAIS partner institutions (University of Hamburg, Comenius University, and the Italian Institute of Technology) participated in person and online. The international project partners shared updates on various work packages, and a visit to the HRI lab in Bratislava was organized. On the second day of the event, a workshop was held by Dr. Ali Knott, who is associated with the project as a quality assurance advisor. During the workshop, multiple ethics-related topics were discussed, including the recent developments in the proposed Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) by the European Union.
