TERAIS Summer School on Trustworthy Human-Robot Interaction in Bratislava
11 July 2024
This summer, our Knowledge Technology group co-organized the multidisciplinary Trustworthy Human-Robot Interaction Summer School (THRISS) in Bratislava, Slovakia. From June 10th to 13th, 2024, students from over eight countries participated in lectures and workshops focused on Cognitive Robotics and Human-Robot Interaction. The summer school featured presentations, keynote discussions, student projects, and social activities such as a social dinner and a city tour.
THRISS was organized under the Horizon Europe TERAIS project in collaboration with international partners from Comenius University of Bratislava (SK), the University of Hamburg (DE), and the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT). Our Knowledge Technology group was represented in THRISS and TERAIS by Matthias Kerzel and Hassan Ali, who shared updates on our NICO and NICOL platforms and discussed recent findings on using Large Language Models (LLMs) in Human-Robot Collaboration.
