International Guests Visit for the EBiM Open Day

On Monday, 17th August 2026, our robotics lab opened its doors to researchers from across the international robotics and AI community as part of the EBiM Open Day Hamburg, an event co-located with IJCAI-ECAI 2026, the 35th International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence, held in Bremen. Following a morning of talks at Google Hamburg and a visit to the EBiM Evaluation Center, guests toured three University of Hamburg labs. At our Knowledge Technology group, visitors got a close-up look at the NICO and NICOL humanoid robot platforms, with plenty of room for questions and hands-on discussion.
