Knowledge Technology has published a collection of videos summarizing some of the groups work in 2017. Two of the video are add-on videos to papers published at the Humanoids 2017 and the Roman 2017 conference.
The video "RO-MAN 2017: Hey Robot, Why Don't You Talk to Me?" presents an interaction scenario, realised using the Neuro-Inspired Companion (NICO) robot. "Humanoids 2017: Combining Deep Learning for Visuomotor Coordination" presents a proof of concept to show how a deep network for end-to-end visuomotor learning can grasp and be coupled with an attention focus mechanism. The video "Robot NICO learned to grasp and roll a dice." shows our NICO robot grasping a dice using a neural end-to-end self learning approach. The video "Some capabilities of the NICO robot" shows some skills of the NICO robot, whose hardware and software was published in 2017 together with a paper on the RO-MAN conference.
