Contents/Inhalte

In this seminar we discuss selected topics from the lecture "Knowledge Processing" (64-414) from a theoretical or an application oriented perspective.

In diesem Seminar besprechen wir ausgewählte Themen zur Vorlesung "Wissensverarbeitung" (64-414) aus theoretischer als auch aus anwendungsorientierter Sicht.

Objective/Lernziel

The objective of this seminar is to analyse critically and present research topics from the field of knowledge processing.

Forschungsthemen aus dem Bereich der bio-inspirierten künstlichen Intelligenz kritisch zu analysieren und zu präsentieren ist das Ziel dieser Veranstaltung.

Procedure/Vorgehen

The integrated seminar complements the lecture knowledge processing and offers the opportunity to discuss specific topics in-depth. During the seminar each participant will write an evaluating paper and give a talk on a selected topic. The evaluating paper on a selected topic usually features an analysis of existing research with an on critical elaboration. The successful participation of the seminar (both in paper and talk) is meant to precede taking the examination for the module. More details will be given at the first meeting.

Das integrierte Seminar ergänzt die Vorlesung Wissensverarbeitung und bietet die Möglichkeit spezielle Themen in der Tiefe zu diskutieren. Jeder Teilnehmer schreibt dazu eine evaluierende Ausarbeitung und hält im Seminar einen Vortrag zu einem gewählten Thema. Eine solche Ausarbeitung ist in der Regel eine Analyse bestehender Forschungsansätze mit kritischer eigener Betrachtung. Die erfolgreiche Teilnahme am Seminar (Ausarbeitung und Vortrag) ist vor dem Ablegen der Modulprüfung vorgesehen. Weitere Hinweise werden in der ersten Sitzung gegeben.
