Goal
As everyone of us was a beginner in game development, the main goal was to learn new stuff and create a fun game, which is not too hard to implement. The game is about how to make our home more organized in a fun and friendly way using virtual reality. Our implemention are based on body tracking via Unity as well Microsoft Visual Studio.
This is the reason why we decided to do a game which can be played in a standing position. Sometimes, you need to bend down or kneel and walk around the home, find objects that are not in proper place and fix them.
Approach
To give context to this proposed mode of virtual home we implemented an environment of home, where objects where placed improperly. After each level is passed, the next scene open automatically
As for the input methods, we just used a well set up a htc vive in the HCI lab. This way we were able to receive input from the user through interaction with the controllers.
We had setup the entire workspace and started development after calibrating the controllers; this part was a bit challenging.
The gestures are kind of primitive to the controllers usage, so we basically used the triggers and in a pointed position.

Evaluation
We allowed the users to pick up all objects which were not in place. The user was not informed about the tasks, but as they interact with the game, they figure out more and more what to do. Sometimes they discovered which objects can be destroyed and those that can be arranged so as to complete a level. A few things were probably a bit too complicated to find out, so as an improvement some hints should be added. Overall, we received a positive reception and the users had a fun time playing our game.
