We published a new piece of software, WoZ4U, a remote-control interface for Softbank's Pepper robot. The interface was developed with the goal of being easy to set up and adjust, and comprises almost all of Pepper's functionality. This makes it well-suited to run HRI experiments. While our code is robot-specific and will only work for the Pepper robot, the software architecture is robot-agnostic and can be implemented on other robotic platforms.
For more details on the architecture and the interface itself, please find our paper "WoZ4U: An Open-Source Wizard-of-Oz Interface for Easy, Efficient and Robust HRI Experiments". The interface is available on GitHub. A video demonstration is available on our YouTube channel.
