NET1 Workshop in Manchester
20. November 2023, von Theresa Pekarek Rosin
The first meeting of the TRAIL project took place in Manchester (UK) between November 20th-21st. The principal investigators of all partner institutions as well as all recruited DCs attended the workshop.
The first day was dedicated to the Doctoral Candidates who presented their research proposal to all members of the project with two
presentations about sustainable AI and how to approach the PhD studies.
On the second day, in the morning the supervisors gave lessons on how to approach the research and the experiments. In the afternoon, the students conducted two workshops on frameworks used for research: ROS, Aldebaran Middleware, and PyTorch.
The visit was a great success for the development of our PhD students who started their first steps into the research field of explainability.
