I am Abinew, currently a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Chris Biemann, Language Technology Group. I am a scholarship holder of the Ethio-German Home-grown Ph.D. program jointly supported by DAAD(Germany) and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education(Ethiopia).
Currently, I’m working on Hate Speech Detection from Social Media Texts. My research interest is NLP for less-resources languages Like Amharic.
