In this work, we revisit the concept of phase-aware single-channel speech enhancement. As part of this, a novel phase-aware estimator of clean speech spectral amplitudes is derived, which takes into account the uncertainty of the available phase information. Furthermore, also a parameterized estimator of compressed complex-valued speech coefficients is derived for the case that no reliable phase estimate is available. We show that these estimators complete an existing set of phase-aware clean speech estimators and compare different approaches by means of an extensive instrumental evaluation.
