The 2023 Summer School of the Transregional Collaborative Research Centre on "Crossmodal Learning" (CML) took place as a hybrid on-site and online meeting from 11th to 16th September. On the 14th, the visitors had an interactive experience with robotics at the labs of the Knowledge Technology group and were presented with different robotic platforms (NICO, iCub, Pepper, and the new NICOL) by our scientific staff. Guests from Tsinghua University, Peking University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and all the local guests from UKE, Psychology and Computing were appreciated very much. The Summer School provided an exceptional opportunity for scientific exchange in presence and paved the way for possible extended joint research collaborations between the project partners in the future if the situation allows.
