Upcoming Talk by Prof. Jun Tani on Robotics and Language Learning
20 March 2025
We are excited to announce that Prof. Dr. Jun Tani from the Cognitive Neurorobotics Unit, Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology will be giving a talk titled "Development of Compositionality through Interactive Learning of Language and Action of Robots Using Free Energy Principle". The event will take place on March 25, 2025, at 14:15 in the Konrad-Zuse-Hörsaal (B-201) and will also be accessible in a hybrid format. For more details, visit our department’s Informatics Colloquium page.
Prof. Tani’s research explores how cognitive agents develop structural representations and functions through interactive learning experiences. His insights offer valuable perspectives on robotics, predictive coding models, and embodied language learning. You can find his recent paper related to this talk here.
