Outgoing students
Complementary informatics courses, the development of personality, improvement of language skills, the ability to think outside the box, and the improvement of intercultural competence are some of the many benefits of an academic stay abroad. Through various programs, students have the opportunity to individually design and realize their stay abroad. Whether you go through an organization such as Erasmus+, Universität Hamburgʼs Central Exchange Program, or as a “free-mover”, studying abroad provides an opportunity to boost your future academic and professional career chances.
Information on exchange programmes can be found on the pages of MIN faculty as well as International Department.
Here you also have the opportunity to sign up for a newsletter on the topic of studying abroad, get information and insights via the podcast "Perspektivwechsel" and acquire intercultural skills in preparation for PIASTA offers.
If traveling is not an option, it is also possible to study abroad virtually. A cooperation of 9 universities enables joint virtual projects. Please inform yourself here: Virtual mobility with eMobi@dg2. Or, as another option, you may consider obtaining the Certificate of Intercultural Competence.
