International students

The Department of Informatics offers international students from around the globe the possibility to study informatics at Universität Hamburg and provides Hamburg students with the opportunity to do a semester or internship abroad. 

For those Hamburg students who do not want to or cannot complete a semester abroad, there is also the possibility of internationalization from Hamburg, e.g. by obtaining the Certificate of Intercultural Competence and through Virtual Mobility, see Outing!

The student-exchange team is the central point of contact for all international affairs within the Department of Informatics. They offer initial consultations for students planning a study abroad period, support for incoming international students, and are responsible for selecting and supporting outgoing Erasmus students.
