Abstract:
Tools and model concepts for business processes are often based on a highly structured mode of operation. This is not generally suitable for a set of business processes in which the participants engage in creative activities like product development. This work presents an approach for increasing agility in both business process models and execution environments. The approach includes goal-oriented concepts and design tools in terms of modeling as well as an agile execution environment for enacting such processes in changing business environments.
